The vFlow makes a distinct vibration that is felt by the hose crew when their charged line achieves a predetermined minimum target fire flow. The field adjustable set point is easily changed to meet your operational standards and is factory set at 150 gpm (570 l/min). The vFlow can be used with all types of handheld nozzles; automatic, selectable flow, fixed orifice, or smooth bore. It can be installed directly behind the nozzle, or behind a two foot length of hose when used with smooth bore and low pressure nozzles.
